About the exhibitor

Fantasy Coral is a micro-enterprise specialising in the production and sale of coral, cameo and pearl jewellery. From its base in Italy, the company designs, makes and markets pieces that combine natural materials with a craft tradition built up over generations, and sells them across three continents.

The business is deliberately small. Every stage of the work — selection of the raw material, cutting and carving, setting, finishing and quality control — is carried out in-house by a small team of artisans. That scale is what allows the company to keep full control of the finished piece, and it is the reason a Fantasy Coral jewel is recognisable by its handwork rather than by a brand mark.

The offering is built around three material families, each worked with techniques specific to that material.

Coral jewellery — necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pendants worked from coral in its natural shades, graded and cut by hand to preserve the grain and colour of the material.

Cameos — carved by hand on shell and coral, produced both as classic profiles and as custom commissions based on a client's own design or family subject.

Pearl jewellery — necklaces, strands, earrings and bracelets using cultured pearls, selected for lustre, shape and surface and mounted in classic settings.

Bespoke commissions — one-off pieces developed with private clients, jewellers and retailers, from design sketch through to finished jewel.

Fantasy Coral sells internationally, with Europe, the United States and Asia as its three reference markets. The customer base combines wholesale buyers — jewellers, galleries and specialised retailers — with private clients who commission individual pieces.

Working across different continents has shaped how the company operates: orders are handled in small runs to suit independent retailers, documentation and shipping are managed to the requirements of each destination market, and the same production standards apply to every piece regardless of where it is going.

The distinguishing element of the company is artisanal craftsmanship. The pieces are not industrial output with a handmade finish; they are made by hand throughout, in a process that cannot be reduced to a production line without losing what makes them valuable.

In practical terms this means an ability to work on non-standard commissions, to match shades and sizes within a set by eye rather than by batch code, and to reproduce traditional forms and techniques faithfully. For wholesale partners it means a supplier who can deliver a distinctive product that is difficult to source elsewhere; for private clients it means a piece made specifically for them.
